Our work environment includes:
- Modern office setting
- Flexible schedule during the off-season. We don't want to work you to death! 40 hours a week during tax season (more only if you'd like and if it's available), 20-25 hours during the off-season.
- We offer eight paid holidays, paid vacation, SIMPLE IRA with a 3% company match
- In office lunches during tax season, two bonus opportunities per year, and an occasional office party.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and examine financial records, statements, and reports
- Ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance of financial data
- Analyze financial information to identify trends and potential issues
- Provide guidance on financial decisions and strategies
- Develop budgets and financial forecasts
- Assist with tax planning and preparation
- Conduct audits to ensure adherence to regulations and internal controls
- Prepare Individual, Corporate, Partnership, Trust, and Non Profit Tax Returns
Experience:
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license required
- Individual, Corporate, Partnership, Trust, and Non Profit Tax Return Preparation
- Proven experience in accounting or related field
- Strong knowledge of financial concepts and principles
- Proficiency in accounting software and spreadsheets
- Familiarity with accrual accounting and general ledger accounting practices
- Understanding of accounts payable processes and procedures
- Knowledge of financial management principles, including budgeting and forecasting
- Understanding of corporate finance principles
