Secretary Attendance Office - EMIS/Registrar

Who We Are:

The Springfield City School District, home to The John Legend Theatre, is seeking an EMIS/Registrar at The Dome for the 2023-2024 school year. We are a nationally ranked Division I District serving approximately 7,500 Pre-K through grade 12 students, in a vibrant learning community of 17 state of the art buildings in west-central Ohio. As an EMIS/Registrar you are required to:

• High School Diploma or Equivalency
• Fluent in Multiple languages preferred
• Successful experience with office management in related field
• Perform basic math
• More than a working knowledge of Microsoft Products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint,) Google, electronic mail, and internet services
• Demonstrate organizational and time management skills
• Specific Skills or expertise required
• Knowledge of laws and regulations, District policies and procedures, principles, guidelines, and best practices

• Registers and inform families of custody law and residency issues
• Record and process data accurately according to standardized procedures
• Assists with office communications, e.g., prepares and distributes memo, letters, notices, forms, directories, facts report, etc.
• Maintains and updates office files
• Maintain office equipment
• Performs other duties as assigned.

What We Offer:
As a contracted employee, this position works 8 hours per day, 260 days per year.
Monday - Friday hours as assigned

Starting salary is $19.05 per hour
