Facility: Dayton Children's - Main Campus Department: Clinical Nutrition & Lactation Schedule: Full time Hours: 40 Job Details: This credentialed medical assistant role will support the Clinical Nutrition and Lactation department. Key duties will include rooming/checking out patients in Nutrition Clinic, obtaining anthropometric measurements, scheduling outpatient nutrition and lactation visits, engaging in phone and text communication with nutrition and lactation patients, assisting with nutrition forms completion (certificates of medical necessity for formulas and Women, Infant, and Children program forms), and ordering lactation and office supplies. Desired strengths include: warmth and positive attitude, self-initiative, curiosity, willingness to innovate and engage with a team that enjoys quality and process improvement, efficient use of computers and Microsoft Excel and desire to learn more, confidence using and learning new technologies, accurate grammar and typing skills Anticipated shift: 7:30AM - 4:00PM or 8:00AM - 4:30PM. No evenings or weekends.
