Summary:
The position of Insert/Connect operator will be responsible for the assembly and dimensional inspection of various electromotive assemblies. Responsibilities include assembly set up, placement of parts, measuring, and visual inspection.
Job Functions
- Previous insert/connect experience preferred.
- Must be able to read/understand part and assembly drawings, process specs & work instructions.
- Ability to read tape measures and measuring scales.
- Possess basic math skills required for working with decimals and fractions.
- Able to produce high quality parts and assemblies made to print/spec requirements.
- Must understand or be willing to learn the flow of material physically and within Syteline to assist in researching inventory discrepancies
- Ability to lift approximately 40 lbs., bend, reach and pull as necessary
Specifications Required:
- Able to lift, push or pull up to 40 lbs.
- Able to operate an overhead crane.
- Able to perform repetitive motions with hands, wrists, and arms.
- Able to use hand tools and other equipment as required.
- Is safety oriented, follows shop rules.
- If not performing as expected, the candidate may be returned to their previous wage/position any time during the probation period.
Education & Experience:
- High school diploma or GED required.
- 1 to 2 years related experience and/or education, training considered equivalent
