We currently have an opportunity to join our team of talented and diverse Faculty and Staff as a Digital Media Producer / Technical Specialist.
Required Qualifications: This position requires an associate degree with 2 years’ experience in online broadcasting or video production. Proficiency with Black Magic Design products, Adobe Creative Suite including Photoshop and Premier, and DaVinci Resolve. Experience with Open Broadcast System (OBS) or similar software, and social media marketing optimization a plus. Bachelor’s degree in related field preferred.
This is a full-time, non-exempt position with an hourly rate of $14.66 with an approximate annual amount of $30,500.
Working Hours: This position will normally work Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Evening and weekend hours are required as needed, especially during selected museum programs and events.

Key Responsibilities:
The Digital Media Producer/Technical Specialist will support the development, production, and management of video content and live streaming video broadcast across social media (Zoom, Facebook Live, Instagram Live, IGTV, and YouTube) and website platforms. The successful candidate will conceive and plan, produce and edit effective video programs that communicate the breadth and depth of Southeast Museum of Photography programs to broad audiences.
The Digital Media Producer/Technical Specialist will collaborate with staff to plan, produce, and execute impactful campaigns on new and existing social media platforms; grow the museum’s online engagement; track key analytics, and moderate public generated content. Other key responsibilities of the position include facilitating community engagement that is accessible to the public, maintaining an inventory of visual assets for use in video production; documenting internal activities; managing a digital archive or recorded broadcasts; and other special projects as necessary.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: The successful candidate will have the ability to handle multiple responsibilities simultaneously; the ability to organize and prioritize work assignments; ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing. Additionally, the candidate will be detail oriented, flexible and have knowledge and skill in working with Microsoft Office products and other computer software programs.
