Your tasks
Responsible for defining, implementing and managing the import and export programs and activities at station or assigned area. Responsible for planning, organizing and managing operations, supporting sales efforts, employees and budgets Tasks & Responsibilities: * Manage all air service and operations activities at a branch level as it relates to booking and movement of shipments. * Support sales department to develop and maintain export and import revenues * Negotiate and monitor export and import rates and services to reduce operation costs and increase profitability * Research and resolve customer problems and complaints * Establish internal controls for profitable margin accounts, short sales and options * Audit and research service performance issues and develop recommendation for improvement * Ensure a safe working environment through consistent practice of safety programs and procedures * Select and place staff, ensure staff training and define specific job assignments * Manage staff performance to ensure required levels of productivity and organization objectives are met * Utilize effective communication skills / methods with internal and external customers. * Continuous process improvement in all areas of responsibility. * Monitor and control files within import and export teams to maintain process flows * Monitor timely account setup, client profiles and billing activities. * Develop team atmosphere focused on internal and external customer service and drive performance to ensure required levels of productivity and organizational objectives are met.
Requirements
Details/Specification/Explanation of the role specific skills This is a management position. Exceptional interpersonal, analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills required. Bachelor's degree or equivalent required. Generally prefer 2-4 years of related supervisory/management and international/export experience.
