Job Overview
Responsible for simple repair on defective incoming vendor product bound for manufacturing in addition to light assembly (and/or packaging) of shop material and finished goods.
What Will You Enjoy Doing (duties/tasks)
- Perform simple repair on incoming vendor product per specified blue print provided
- Repackage into original vendor packaging or specified packaging convention
- Assemble fasteners and/or shop materials into parts/order presentation convention
- Support manufacturing personnel with material handling to point of use
- Post Daily metrics at the close of business, meeting the deadline given by the supervisor
- Perform direct logistics support to manufacturing personnel; in shop parts and material presentation
- This is an intermediate level position.
- Good interpersonal skills required.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Generally prefer 2-4 years of experience.
- Manufacturing experience a plus.
- Must be familiar with OSHA regulations, have strong computer skills as well as organizational, inventory and accounting skills.
