Davis Behavioral Health, Inc. is seeking a full-time Client Intake Specialist to join its clinical support team. Responsibilities include answering phone calls and returning calls promptly and courteously. The successful candidate is expected to use of proper phone etiquette and provide excellent customer service in person, via phone and electronic communication. The intake specialist gathers and inputs intake information into the electronic medical record system while completing the intake process. Performs other related duties as directed by supervisor. Duties also include scheduling appointments, supporting clinicians, and being part of the business office team. We are looking for an individual who is warm, intelligent, articulate, detail-oriented, comfortable with computers and technology, and willing to learn and grow in the position.

This position is housed at our Main Street Clinic located at 934 South Main Street, Layton, Utah 84041.

Compensation
The starting hourly rate for this position is $15.00.

High school diploma or equivalent
At least one (1) year of experience working in an office environment. Strong preference for candidates with experience working with insurance providers.
Basic computer skills with familiarity with the Microsoft Office products.
Demonstrate respect for all current and potential clients and employees.
Conduct all activities in a professional manner.
The selected candidate must successfully pass a pre-employment criminal background check and drug screening. DBH will not hire individuals currently using illegal drugs or abusing alcohol; therefore, making employment at DBH conditional upon successfully passing pre-employment drug screening by providing a valid sample. Candidates who are offered employment are required to report for a drug screen at an Intermountain WorkMed location within 24 hours of being requested to do so by the DBH Human Resources Department.
Davis Behavioral Health works with Federal grants and must comply with the Federal drug laws, including no use of medical marijuana.
