Drainage Systems Technician

The position is responsible to perform general maintenance of the highway maintenance project assigned.

SUMMARY OF ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

  • Cleans and grades ditches, drainage structures, highway road shoulders, and slopes
  • Performs repair work including, but not limited to, repair of fences, sign repair, litter debris removal, and other highway maintenance activities to include emergency response
  • Operates equipment such as a skid steer or mini-excavator
  • Operates a chain saw
  • Drives company vehicles
  • Uses all equipment safely
  • Performs other duties as assigned
