Job Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled Classic AUTOSAR Developer to join our team in Kokomo, Indiana. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in Classic AUTOSAR, Basic Software (BSW), and Microcontroller Abstraction Layer (MCAL) development. This role involves designing, developing, and integrating AUTOSAR components to ensure high-quality software solutions for automotive applications.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and integrate Classic AUTOSAR software components, including BSW and MCAL layers.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define software requirements and architecture.
- Implement and optimize AUTOSAR configurations and modules to meet project specifications.
- Conduct software testing, debugging, and validation to ensure the reliability and performance of developed solutions.
- Participate in code reviews and provide technical guidance to junior developers.
- Work closely with hardware teams to ensure seamless integration of software and hardware components.
- Stay updated with the latest trends and advancements in AUTOSAR and automotive software development.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience in Classic AUTOSAR software development, including BSW and MCAL.
- Strong knowledge of automotive software development processes and standards.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as C/C .
- Experience with AUTOSAR tools and configuration management.
- Familiarity with automotive communication protocols (CAN, LIN, FlexRay, etc.).
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with AUTOSAR Classic Platform.
- Knowledge of ISO 26262 functional safety standards.
- Familiarity with model-based development tools such as MATLAB/Simulink.
- Understanding of embedded systems and real-time operating systems (RTOS).
