Job Title: Mechanical Engineer
Location: Brea, California
Job Description:
· Mechanical Engineer experienced in design and analysis for Military or Commercial Line Replaceable Equipment (LRU).
Responsibilities include:
· Perform failure investigations, analyze product improvements, provide technical analysis for work transfers and review part discrepancies. Other deliverables include continuous improvement tools, developing work instructions / standard work, and following all regulatory company procedures including thorough recording of all work to ensure traceability.
· Participate and complete actions by attending daily / weekly schedule / status meetings, or more frequently as deemed appropriate.
Skills required include:
· Modeling and drawing generation experience (SolidWorks and/or NX).
· Familiarity with aircraft Qualification and Regulatory requirements
· Strong mechanical failure analysis, product design and report writing skills required.
· Ability to work with all levels of engineering, and management personnel and capable of positively interacting in a team environment.
· Familiarity with DO-160 or MIL-STD-810 is desirable
· Familiarity with helicopter subsystems highly desirable
Qualification:
· B.S
Compensation: $85,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
