In this role, you will require knowledge and experience with the aerospace manufacturing and material movement with experience of planning, forecasting, placement & expediting of critical orders.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills to interface with client personnel and the ability to collaborate with a team is required.
Proficient in Excel, using / creating spreadsheets, and experience with SAP.
This is considered an onsite position, meaning in this role the candidate will be expected to work onsite at the client facility in Rockford, IL daily Monday - Friday for 40 hrs / week minimally.
Primary Responsibilities include managing inventory, communicating order status and changes, driving continuous improvement of scheduling functions, and facilitating inventory consensus across sales, operations, and procurement.
This position involves a high level of interaction with a variety of business functions and assists with achieving the daily operational tasks and goals.
Responsibilities include :
Thorough understanding of production planning, scheduling, and coordination.
Track, optimize, run and report work done in manufacturing operations
High accountability to follow through on action items and drive results.
Experience with manufacturing shop floor and material movement is required.
Knowledge and use of SAP and the ability to complete SAP related tasks at times.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills to interface with personnel are required.
Proficient with the use of Excel for spreadsheets, V-look ups, pivot tables.
Analytical and problem-solving skills are preferred with solid organizational skills and attention to detail.
Execute the following tasks to include :
Complete customer / client training in key planning functions to support the role.
Review parts for the program, and verify orders are placed.
Review part shortages and expedite for best deliveries.
Attend program meetings for material questions.
Assist with other programs / planning activities per manager
Qualifications :
Associate degree in a related fields such as business, manufacturing, inventory control and / or 2 year(s) of relevant experience
Background in the aerospace industry
Knowledge of configuration management, SAP, Microsoft Suite, particularly Excel, are strongly preferred.
Exposure to various manufacturing processes
An ability to build positive intercompany relationships
