Job Posting for Child Welfare Communications Supervisor at DCCCA
DCCCA has been a licensed Child Placing Agency in the state of Kansas since 2001. CPA staff work with foster parents to assist in providing the best possible services for children and families. We believe in every child's right to a stable placement with trained foster parents who are dedicated to his or her emotional and physical well-being, their educational opportunity, and permanency with the birth or adoptive family.
Position Overview:
Monitors CPA referrals and placements and provides coverage of placement job responsibilities when needed
Maintains and cultivates strong relationships with DCCCA's case management providers
Conducts new employee training, eReach training and other beneficial training to staff and foster families
Manages eReach system
Provides direct supervision to assigned staff individually and as a group once a month
Approves timesheets and expenses for staff
Addresses foster family issues via home visits or telephone calls as appropriate
Submits monthly program statistics on or before the due date
Works with Director and CPA Coordinators in hiring, terminating, and disciplining CPA staff
Requirements:
Requires a bachelor's degree in communications or a related-field
At least two years of child welfare and/or family services experience is preferred
