Job Title: Production Coordinator
The Production Coordinator has the overall responsibility to assist multiple internal staff with ERP functionality as well as the purchasing of components.
Responsibilities
- Set-up production parts, bills of materials, work orders, and purchase orders, to accurately consume inventory and track costs in the ERP system.
- Be an ERP expert. Establish and document ERP procedures. Train new employees on ERP system. Train users on system updates and/or new processes.
- Partner with others to resolve production and inventory variances.
- Work with Accounting, Customer Relations, Production, and Inventory departments to troubleshoot and continually improve ERP functions and processes.
- Develop, prepare, run, and distribute a variety of reports utilizing data from several sources.
- Assist in the investigation and resolution of ERP discrepancies.
- Purchase a variety of items and services as directed.
Ideal Candidate
- Associate degree in related field and 3-5 years of experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, multi-tasking environment, managing multiple priorities to meet specific deadlines.
- Demonstrated flexibility to react quickly to changing circumstances.
- Uses sound judgment.
- Strong verbal, written and interpersonal communications skills.
- ERP experience is preferred (NetSuite).
- Strong attention to detail.
- Curiosity and problem-solving skills related to the ERP system.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
