Warehouse Supervisor

DCL Logistics is a third-party logistics company (3PL) that offers state of the art ecommerce and retail fulfillment services in the United States with facilities in California, Kentucky, and Pennsylvania. We offer customized fulfillment solutions that are designed to reduce costs, increase productivity, and improve the value of our clients' brand.

Our rapidly growing 3PL seeks a Warehouse Supervisor located at our Ontario, CA facility.

The Warehouse Supervisor will manage the receiving, replenishment, picking and general warehouse operations within the facility, working closely with Inventory Control team and the Inventory Control Supervisor.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

• Supervise and manage personnel in three main areas: receiving, replenishment and picking.
• Responsible for appraising performance, training and development.
• Ensure correct workload planning based on customer requirements and demand
• Oversee and direct product and material movements within the facility, emphasizing lean processes, inventory precision and optimal storage utilization. Maintain organization within warehouse when it comes to remediation of MRB, hold and bad product
• Coordinate with Client Services and other internal departments to provide productive feedback on potential customer improvements that could provide warehouse and planning efficiencies
• Partner with Inventory Control to maintain a high degree of inventory accuracy within the warehouse.
• Maintain floor organization, safety and cleanliness. Ensure equipment and all safety measures are in place, and that all warehouse staff has the required safety training
• Ensure compliance to ISO standards.

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS REQUIREMENTS:

• 4 years of progressive warehouse experience
• Degree preferred
• Experience in a supervisory capacity
• Strong inventory management control expertise.
• Demonstrated leadership and strong interpersonal skills
• Technologically inclined. Must gravitate to understanding IT systems and how they support an operation. Experience with WMS, ERP, shipping systems is required
• Strong excel user
• APICS and ISO Internal Auditor certifications a plus
• Forklift Certified Trainer
• Experience working at a 3PL is recommended
