Machine Operator
Our Machine Operator is primarily responsible for operating the WeighPak and any tasks related to the pre-roll machine, and trouble shotting machine issues. Additionally, this position should expect to meet strict daily goals, quantities, and quality of finished products.
Your role in caring for our medical products:
The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:
- Maintain clean working environment and ensure safety and compliance

Survey the daily cleaning of machinery and equipment used and maintain cleanliness standards

Operate WeighPak
-
Ensure equipment is clean and calibrated at start of day, between strains, and end of day.

Maintain daily production logs and reports information to management.

Verify start weight and end weight of source package, as well as piece count for all unit-based inventory.

Identify issues with the machine as they present themselves and work through solutions.

Work cohesively with various departments and provides operational support when deemed necessary and approved by management.

Must be comfortable working in environments with varying temperatures from 55°-85°

Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications we ask you to have:

For legal reasons, all employees need to be at least 21 years of age.

You will be asked to pass a Federal and State criminal history background check.

We ask that you have at least a high school diploma/GED.

Ability and comfort with using power-operated machine tools.

Comfortable using technology/computers to operate machine.
- Ability and willingness to pivot to other tasks quickly.

Ability to make adjustments to the machine.

Comfortable working around high-speed machinery.

Comfortable with heights (up to 12 feet).

This role is similar to an assembly line in that it will be completing repetitive tasks throughout the day.
- Must be capable of sitting for extended periods of time, lift objects on a regular basis, and perform daily repetitive tasks.

Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs. unassisted and up to 80lbs assisted. At times you will also need to be able to lift 10lbs above your head.

As this is a cannabis growing facility, there will be strong odors, bright lights, and various noises throughout the workday.
- Employees are asked to wear scrubs, masks, gloves, and hair nets while working with the plants. DCM will provide scrubs, gloves, and hair nets to all employees.
