Position Overview:
We are a leading dental laboratory seeking an experiencedRemovable Technicianto join our team in Birmingham, Alabama. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for all stages of denture fabrication, from start to finish. This role requires a high level of craftsmanship, attention to detail, and the ability to produce top-quality dentures that meet both functional and aesthetic standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Complete Denture Fabrication:Perform the full process of denture fabrication, including setup, relines, repairs, and finishing.
- Finishing & Aesthetic Detailing:Trim, shape, and polish dentures to achieve a natural and lifelike appearance, ensuring they fit comfortably and look esthetically pleasing.
- Quality Assurance:Inspect all finished dentures for proper occlusion, alignment, and adherence to quality standards.
- Repair & Adjustments:Handle repairs and adjustments to ensure dentures function optimally and fit comfortably.
- Collaboration:Work closely with the dental lab team, including other technicians and dental prosthetists, to ensure smooth production and delivery of dentures.
- Documentation:Keep accurate records of materials, techniques, and any adjustments made during denture fabrication and finishing.
- Equipment Maintenance:Maintain and care for dental lab equipment, ensuring all tools and instruments are in good working order.
- Safety & Compliance:Follow all safety protocols and infection control procedures to maintain a safe, hygienic work environment.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as a denture technician in a dental lab setting.
- Strong attention to detail and craftsmanship.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
