Essential Job Functions:
- Entering invoices and processing checks
- Ensuring bills are paid in a timely and accurate manner while adhering to departmental procedures
- Create and update vendors
- Obtain W-9s as needed and complete 1099/1096 filings annually
- Perform vendor reconciliations
- Process vendor refunds/credits
- Liaison with vendors to address questions/issues
- Execute payments to approved vendors
- Complete credit applications for new vendors
- Resolve invoice or payment discrepancies
- Manage license and permits to ensure all payments made timely
- Assist with special projects as needed
Requirements:
- 3-5 years of progressive experience in Accounts Payable
- Knowledge of residential real estate (multi-family preferred)
- Yardi (or similar software) experience is preferred
- Rigorous attention to detail and confidentiality
- Able to thrive under tight constraints, manage multiple priorities simultaneously and meet project deadlines for delivering a quality product and excellent service
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Proficiency in Excel is required
