Job Posting for Companion Support for Young Adult with Autism at DDA Support Broker

Looking for companion support for an adult with Autism. She is very active in the community and has a very involved family. They are looking for someone who can provide 3-4 hours of help, three times a week. Days and times are flexible but at least one hour of the day must be provided at the workplace to see how she is doing.

SAMPLE day:

11:00AM- meet at her workplace and see if there is anything she needs help learning.

12:00PM- go back to her apartment and help her tidy up.

1PM- make a grocery list and go to the grocery store.

2PM-help prepare a meal and clean up.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $22.00 - $27.00 per hour

Schedule:

  • Day shift
  • Weekends as needed

Ability to commute/relocate:

  • Rockville, MD: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)

Experience:

  • Caregiving: 1 year (Preferred)

Shift availability:

  • Day Shift (Required)
