What are the responsibilities and job description for the DNA Collector position at DDC?
We are looking for DNA Collector that lives near Blackshear, GA. The Collector will be observing DNA cheek swab collections and completing a chain of custody intended for paternity establishment. Training is provided. The Collector will be expected to work 4 days per month with the following schedule:
- Bacon County Court (Alma) - Once a month on court dates; 11/28/23, 12/13/23 - 8:00 AM - 11:00 AM
- Brantley County Court (Nahunta) - Once a month on court dates; 11/27/23, 12/4/23 - 8:00 AM - 11:00AM
- Charlton County Court (Folkston) - Once a month on court dates; 11/29/23, 12/5/23 - 8:00 AM - 11:00 AM
- Pierce County Court (Blackshear) - Once a month on court dates; 11/7/23, 12/11/23 - 8:00 AM - 11:00 AM
The ideal candidate is responsible, responsive and can work well independently. This position requires high attention to detail and the ability to comfortably interact with the public. A background in social services or education is preferred. This is a contractor position (1099). A background check will be required. Please submit a resume to be considered.
