Responsibilities:
- Collect data from operations and organize daily reports to be communicated to Project Management and Senior Leaders.
- Report on variances from budgets via comparisons to prior year and effectively communicate the cause to all stakeholders.
- Help ensure data integrity and accuracy, identify inconsistent data, and maintain accurate data for further analytical projections.
- Prepares and analyze data from a variety of databases, building up financial models to produce and support internal management reports.
- Gather information from ERP system to build models in Microsoft Excel, Fabric and Power BI.
- Consolidate and measure company performance per line of business.
- Coordinates with other members of the finance team to review financial information.
- Ad-hoc analysis and reporting as required.
- Assists accounting team with reconciling accounts, account analysis and month-end financial reporting.
Required
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance.
- 1-3 years of experience with financial analysis.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office, possessing strong MS Excel skills.
- Ability to work well within a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
- Ability to multi-task and meet deadlines.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to travel to regional offices in NYS as needed.
- Construction experience a plus.
