What are the responsibilities and job description for the Park Manager position at De Anza Properties?
We are a mobile home community looking for a customer service—oriented and experienced manager to live on-site. Mobile Home, MRL, and Title 25 knowledge is a huge plus.
Park Manager Responsibilities and Requirements:
Approving or denying residency or prospective homeowners per the park rules and the Uniform Rental Criteria.
Supervising Proper Procedures for Sale of Homes by residents. This includes:
- Inspection for On-Site Sale – outside inspections of the homes that are for sale, which include the lot they are sitting on. Re-inspection before escrow closes. Follow-through of escrow closing procedures.
Responsible for supervising office staff, maintenance crew, and closing personnel.
Office work includes:
- Computer use including frequent use of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Publisher
- File and document management
- Process personnel time cards
- Obtain vendor estimates and process vendor invoices
- Work with the regional manager and corporate staff members
- Daily work with online PB Manager (Park Billing) reservation and bookkeeping program, to include rent deposits and follow-up of overdue rents
- Writing notices and correspondence
- Maintaining and storing documentation effectively.
- Performing property-wide inspections.
- Manager is on call with emergency park phone and supervises rotating maintenance personnel who is also on-call.
- Routine, intermittent, and yearly inspections of homes, rentals, landscaping, and general park health and maintenance issues.
Qualified candidates will have the following skills:
- Ability to interact in a professional manner with the park’s residents, guests, vendors, and employees
- Comfortable with computers and proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
- Experience with accounting
- Possess a valid California drivers license and a reliable vehicle
- Problem-solving abilities
- Overseeing construction projects
Compensation is based on experience. Looking to fill the position immediately.'
