Warehouse Shipping and Receiving Technician

Warehouse & Shipping – 1st shift

De Nora Warehouse Technicians coordinate inventory activities and provide efficient materials services to internal and external customers. These services include material issues, storage, domestic and international shipments, related documentation.

Job duties include:

• Picking materials for plant production
• Load and unload truck shipments
• Perform physical inventory moves and deliveries
• Perform database inventory moves and resolve issues
• Packing for internal/external customers
• Print various labels and picklists, production routings, sales orders
• Perform Storage Location Audits
• Optimize warehouse/shelf space
• Organize and clean equipment
• Work with the Warehouse & Logistics Manager and Warehouse Coordinator to complete 5S/Lean Project and Continuous Improvement Tasks
• Participate as an active and contributing member of the Warehouse Team

· Forklift license required in order to drive tow motor; must obtain within first 30 days

Preferred Skills:

• SAP or other ERP system experience is helpful
• Verbal and written communication skills
• Self directed – able to work alone AND in team atmosphere

Experience:

• HS Diploma or equivalent mandatory
• Basic math skills
• Good organizational skills
• Prior experience operating a forklift
• Inventory and cycle counting experience
• Basic knowledge of bills of lading and shipping and receiving operations
• Basic knowledge of hazardous materials handling, labeling, and shipping manifests
• Basic computer skills, ability to work with Excel and Outlook
