DAAOKC is looking for an enthusiastic Automotive Condition Report Writer who has a knack for cars and wants an opportunity to join a growing company.. What you will do:

● Work onsite at Dealer Auto Auction
● Partner with DAAOKC Manager and Team to ensure timely and thorough reports of vehicles to be auctioned. .
● Work as an integral part of the DAAOKC Team building strong working relationships.
● Prepare and submit a report of vehicle condition, repair/replacement cost estimates, and related documentation. Completion of Condition Report Activities and related reporting and/or recordkeeping including but not limited to: (interior/exterior),
repair/replacement estimates and related documentation. Identify, and assess structural damage, frame condition, and alignment of vehicle bodypanels and repairs along with detecting missing parts and mechanical problems.
● Take paint meter readings and perform Audio Motor Profile (AMP) recordings as well as Virtual Lift undercarriage images.
● List inspected wholesale vehicles utilizing proprietary platform for bidding and purchasing.
● Stay informed with information regarding company products, upgrades and service
improvements.
● Perform additional duties as assigned.

What you Will Need:

● 1 year Experience in the automobile field (body, paint and mechanical repair knowledge) with a strong work ethic
● Ability to read, write, speak and understand English.
● Problem solving aptitude to meet challenges with resourcefulness and innovative
approaches.
● Proven success to work independently with minimal supervision while working in a team environment.
● Excellent communicator with the ability to understand expectations.
● Valid driver’s license and safe driving record required
● Knowledge of system capabilities, knowledge of needed/job-relevant software
packages, and web-based applications.
● Ability to drive a manual & automatic transmission.
● Vision abilities required to properly identify small defects around and underneath
vehicles.

Physical/Mental Requirements
● Ability to work in a variety of conditions (indoor and outdoor)
● Ability to use computers, including typing, navigating software applications, and using a mouse or trackpad.
● Able to push, pull, lift, or move up to 50 lbs. as needed.
● Thinking and problem-solving ability.
● Written and oral communication ability
● Ability to communicate and effectively exchange information.
● Ability to view and interpret information displayed on monitor(s), device screen(s), or physical mediums
