DeAngelo Contracting Services (DCS) is looking for the next “Mr. Fix-it" for our locations in Hazleton, PA. The perfect individual for this role would be someone who has a mechanical, electrical, and construction background, with an “I can fix anything and a do-it all” attitude. This person will be responsible for the general maintenance, cleaning, and upkeep of the buildings.

MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITES:

GROUNDS MAINTENANCE:

• Cut grass.
• Maintain Shrub Beds by planting, mulching, and trimming the shrubs.
• Maintain the parking lots and sidewalks:
• Sweep.
• Repair cracks and holes.
• Paint lines.
• Maintain signs.
• Pick up litter.
• Make a list of needed repairs.
• Plow snow.
• Shovel snow.
• Put ice melt down.

BUILDING MAINTENANCE:

Interior:

• Repair all broken doors.
• Repair all plumbing.
• Repair all electrical problems.
• Paint where needed.
• Replace light bulbs.
• All other maintenance needs.

JANITORIAL:

• Inventory and order janitorial supplies.
• Sweep warehouse.
• Clean windows.
• Empty garbage containers in offices and garages.
• Fill paper towel dispensers, soap dispensers, etc.
• Keep water and coffee cups in the lunchroom.
• Empty paper shredders.
• Order Janitorial supplies.

QUALIFICATIONS FOR THE JOB:

EDUCATION:

• High School Diploma or Equivalent is required.

EXPERIENCE:

• MUST HAVE A CURRENT VALID DRIVER’S LICENSE AND AN ACCEPTABLE DRIVING RECORD.
• MUST HAVE TRANSPORTATION TO AND FROM THE COMPANY OFFICE.
• MUST BE ABLE TO DRIVE A MANUAL TRANSMISSION TRUCK.
• MUST BE WILLING TO WORK OVERTIME, INCLUDING WEEKENDS AND HOLIDAYS.
• MUST BE ABLE TO COMPLY WITH THE COMPANY DRUG AND ALCOHOL POLICY.
• Prior Maintenance experience is preferred.
