We are looking for an enthusiastic marketing intern to join our team and provide creative ideas
to help achieve our goals. You will have support duties in developing and implementing social
media content, in-house marketing strategies.
As a marketing intern, you will collaborate with our marketing and advertising team, and senior
leadership, in all stages of marketing campaigns. Your insightful contribution will help develop,
expand, and maintain our marketing channels.
This internship will help you acquire marketing skills and provide you with knowledge of various
marketing strategies. Ultimately, you will gain broad experience in marketing and should be
prepared to enter any fast-paced work environment.
ABOUT US
Blue Dog Hospitality is a rapidly expanding hospitality group in South New Jersey focused on
revitalizing existing properties and elevating the culinary experiences in the area. We currently
own and operate The Deauville Inn, Yesterday's Creekside Tavern, Right Turn Liquors and
coming Summer '23, Captain Obadiah's Seafood Market. We believe in our people and aim to
deliver memorable experiences to our guests year-round.
Our company is looking for someone to assist in further developing current brands and ideating
future endeavors through our social media voice. The right candidate must be multi-faceted
and skilled in photography, videography, social media content design, Canva, and Adobe
Illustrator.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The Marketing Intern reports directly to the VP of Operations and is responsible for supporting
the collaborative marketing effort of Blue Dog Hospitality, including but not limited to:
- In-House Office Support
- Assist in creation of in-house flyers, cards, and posters across all locations
- Scope local marketing opportunities as needed
- Social Media, Photography, Videography
- Monitor and manage the social media platforms, adjusting outreach tactics as needed,
- across all locations, according to our marketing objectives
- Coordinate with internal departments to deliver all aspects of social media projects
- Maintain knowledge of trends and best practices in the social media market, and
- relevant industry verticals
- Assist in all in-house marketing collateral to include menus, table-top marketing pieces,
- posters, displays, etc.
- Act as in-house photographer/videographer, taking photos and videos as it pertains to
- marketing
- Attend weekly BDHG Marketing Strategy Sessions with Senior Leadership
QUALIFICATIONS:
1 years of relevant marketing experience
2 years in content photography/videography
Knowledge of Canva and Adobe Illustrator a plus
Proven ability to be strategic in thinking and execution
Exceptional ability to navigate all social media platforms, with keen understanding of
production and storytelling is a must
Strong problem-solving and project management skills
Ability to manage time and resources optimally to oversee multiple projects
simultaneously in a high volume, fast-paced environment
Exception written and verbal communications and presentation skills required
