Position Summary: The Facilities Operations Manager is responsible for being knowledgeable with regard to all mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and fire protection systems in the building. Supervise, control, direct, administer, and coordinate all operations and mechanical/electrical maintenance of the facility under the direction of building management. Provide overall day to day supervision (including disciplinary actions as necessary) of all staff working in the Facility Department. Conduct annual employee evaluations for all Mechanics of Facilities Management. Assume the responsibilities of the Director in his absence. Responsibilities include developing and implementing procedures, goals and objectives, monitoring and evaluating the efficiency and effectiveness of the service delivery methods. Experience Required: 1 to 5 years in Healthcare Environment Preferred: 3 to 5 years in Management Position |
Education Required: Trade Specific Training. Experience in Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing, Building Construction and Renovation Preferred: Associate Degree in a related field and/or background in Engineering preferred |
License and Credentials Required: NJ #2 Low Pressure Black Seal Preferred: EPA Universal Certification, Class A Engineer License |
Skills Required: Knowledge of Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing Full time - 80 hours per pay period |
