Flooring Technician

DEC Fire & Water Restoration is a leading provider of commercial cleaning services in the Central and South Alabama areas with a focus on commercial and educational facilities, healthcare, and retail.

We are seeking TWO detail-oriented Flooring Technicians to join our team. This is a hands-on role that requires attention to detail and the ability to work with a team or independently, as required.

Experience preferred but will train the right candidate.

Duties:

  • Stripping, waxing and buffing floors
  • Carpet and upholstery cleaning and extraction
  • Use specialized equipment and cleaning solutions as needed
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of vans and equipment
  • Other cleaning duties as needed

Experience:

  • Prior experience in drywall, carpentry, or construction estimating is beneficial
  • Familiarity with the restoration industry is a plus
  • Proficiency in various flooring installation techniques
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong attention to detail and quality craftsmanship

Qualifications:

  • Must pass drug screen and background check.
  • A strong work ethic
  • The ability to work alone or within a team is a must.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $17.00 - $18.50 per hour

Expected hours: 40 – 45 per week
