In this role, you will build relationships with current and potential Credit Union members by providing service excellence with the member’s best interest in mind. Become an expert on DECU products and services and proactively match them to the consumer’s needs. Exercise sound, independent judgment, ensuring all processes are accurate and complete and be a trusted financial partner.

You will be empowered to

· Improve member’s financial situation through interview, suggestions, education, etc. Recognizes the need and further counsels the member on financials. Looks beyond the need today, looks in the future at possible scenarios. Spends time with the member to possibly deny request, provide information and available resources to improve the member situation in the future

· Actively work with the Supervisor to develop opportunities for sales.

· Interact with each member when they visit the Paris branch. Ensure branch visits are meeting member’s needs regarding products, service, hours, etc

· Spend required hours in community educating the community on DECU

· Spend required hours volunteering in the community

· Represent DECU at community events

These are just a few things you will be doing as the Member Development Specialist. We do require you have at least two years of previous sales experience. Excellent communication skills is a must.

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
• Monday to Friday
• Weekends as needed
