MECHANICAL ASSEMBLER NEEDED- 1st and Second Shift Needed

Assembler Job Responsibilities:
- Reads, interprets and follows basic blueprints, diagrams, engineering drawings, specifications, bills of materials, and other written instructions or procedures to accurately assemble equipment and products.
- Prepares work to be accomplished by gathering parts, subassemblies, tools, and materials.
- Assembles components by examining connections for correct fit; fastening parts and subassemblies; may utilize hand held tools such as a hand held screw and drill gun to assemble.
- Verifies specifications by measuring completed component.
- May perform soldering, which is the process in which two or more metal items are joined together by melting and flowing a filler metal (solder) into the joint.
- Maintains inventory of product in work stations.
- Performs quality work checks to insure the product meets quality standards.
- Identifies product defects and complete appropriate documentation when defects are identified.
- Keeps equipment operational by following manufacturer's instructions; troubleshooting malfunctions; calling for repairs.
- Maintains safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
- Places and expedites orders for supplies; verifies receipt of supplies.
- Conserves resources by using equipment and supplies as needed to accomplish job results.
- Documents actions by completing production and quality forms.
- Contributes to team effort and works at a fast and consistent pace.
Qualifications/Requirements:
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Mechanical assembly experience is preferred but not required.
- Basic reading skills. Must be able to follow directions.
- Basic computer navigation and utilization skills.
- Ability to perform work accurately and thoroughly.
- Ability to communicate well, use thinking and reasoning to solve a problem, etc.
- High attention to detail and self-motivation skills.
- Ability to lift up to 20 pounds.
- Ability to regularly perform repetitive tasks.
- Ability to regularly possess manual dexterity to put parts or pieces together quickly and accurately.
- Specific vision abilities required include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
