Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented Tax Preparer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of financial concepts and tax regulations to assist clients in preparing and filing their taxes accurately and efficiently.

Responsibilities

- Experience in the preparation of individual, corporate, and partnership tax returns.

- Identify tax consulting and planning opportunities

- Research tax issues.

- Communicate with the IRS on tax matters.

- Possess the ability to provide excellent client service.

- Great organizational skills.

- Prefer candidate with Ultra Tax and Drake Skills.

- Senior Bookkeeping experience required.

- Manage and train junior staff members.

Requirements

- Excellent knowledge of federal and state taxation.

- Knowledge of Quickbooks desktop/online and Xero.

- Strong communication and interpersonal personal skills.

- Strong tax research abilities.

- Capable of producing quality work deliverables to clients with few or no changes.

- Bachelor's degree in Accounting required.

- Minimum of 5 years of experience.

- EA or CPA license preferred.

Pay $65,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
