We are seeking a qualified Equipment Specialist in Albany, GA.

Position Description :

The selectee will support the Program Manager for the Light Armored Vehicle (LAV) Program. Light Armored Vehicle supports and modernizes the Family of Light Armored Vehicles.

PM LAV is composed of multi-functional acquisition associates who are responsible for the life-cycle management of both Marine Corps and Foreign Military Sales programs.

PM LAV is a professional work force and executes all acquisition disciplines to include program management, logistics, engineering, procurement, contracting, financial management, quality assurance and test and evaluation.

Responsibilities and Duties :

The selectee will assist LAV Program Management Office (PMO) and the Marine Corps Logistics Base Albany LAV PMO Team by :

• Providing efficient and effective logistics recommendations
• Coordinating priorities
• Developing, reviewing, and managing program documentation and cataloging data
• Supporting overall implementation of LAV support requirements consistent with program objectives

Required Qualifications and Skills :

• Minimum of three years of experience as an Equipment Specialist or Ordnance Vehicle Maintenance including experience with Marine Corps specific supply support and maintenance concepts.
• Minimum of three years of experience utilizing automated systems to perform analyses and prepare documentation; this experience may have been gained working in trades or crafts, engineering, production control, inspection, or other work related to the specialization of the position to be filled.
• Prior Equipment Specialist experience or military experience within the maintenance support communities is highly desired.
• Ability to effectively communicate status of technical issues with senior management.
• Ability to communicate with stakeholders verbally and in writing.
• Ability to present team accomplishments to customers and senior management.
• Personal computer skills. Competent with MS Office applications
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Ability to work positively with people with different ideas and perspectives.

Other Requirements :

• Telework up to 50% of the time as approved by Govt Sponsor
• Work location : MARCORLOGCOM, Albany, GA

Travel Requirements :

Estimated travel is 10%; primary destination is TACOM, Detroit Arsenal, MI
