DecoPress is an innovative company that produces emblems, labels and decorates garments with a heat press or embroidery.

We work on exciting projects from the advertising/promotional and retails spaces. Every day is filled with new projects and challenges. We work in a team format and are dedicated to meeting tight customer deadlines daily. This is a fast-paced, on your feet, move-around job opportunity. We have a great team that supports each other and we're looking to bring on some new energetic team members to join us.

The person to fill this position will assist the production team in completing jobs. This consists of setting up and operating presses, prepping items for decorating, finishing, folding and packing. The ability to stay focused and work consistently is essential for this position. This is a full-time position during the weekdays and possibly the weekends. Please submit a resume or work history to be considered for this position. Prior experience operating a heat press machine is preferred.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Operate the heat press consistently achieve customers desired outcomes and company deadlines.
• It is required to be accurate and consistent in placement of heat press materials on products.
• Steaming, ironing and finishing garments
• Folding, bagging and packing items
• Occasional weeding and set up is required.
• Assist embroidery department in cutting, trimming, gluing and finishing product
• Inspect work performed by yourself and other team members for quality and accuracy
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Show up for work at the requested shift time.
• Lift and move boxes, bags, product
• Fold, unfold, pack and label products accurately
• Must be able to stand for long periods of time.
• It is required to quality check and pack products for shipping
• Support other departments such as embroidery, patch making and finishing as needed.
• Other odd jobs will be required as needed. Everyone is expected to work as team for the greater good of the company

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED
• Strong attention to detail. We have a lot of orders coming through and the ability to recognize an error or mistake in your work is a must.
• There is no experience required for this position though it is a plus

• Able to move freely about the facility, climb stairs, bend, kneel, stand and walk for extended periods of time and up to 8 hrs a day
• Able to accurately and easily read customer orders in English
• Able to work alone and in a team
• Not be afraid to operate machinery
• Able to lift boxes and bags that weight as much as 20 - 30 lbs

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $19.00 per hour

Experience:

• Quality assurance: 2 years (Preferred)
• Picking & packing: 2 years (Preferred)
