Position Summary

The Transportation Dispatcher will help support our operations management team with specific planning, communication, data entry, processing paperwork, working with drivers, and support customer deliveries for a dedicated logistics account. The Transportation Dispatcher will also follow up and resolve any issues or inquiries assigned to their area of responsibility. To be successful the selected candidate must be able to multitask and constructively interact with the customer, co-workers and the delivery drivers while adhering to maintaining proper DOT compliance and excellent service support.

Utilization of Logistics Management Software including:

• Order entry of shipments into current Dispatch system (TMW).
• Monitoring daily delivery status and communicating with drivers and customers with any/all updates.
• Maintain company’s data requirements in the TMW System.
• Effective utilization of various programs and systems such as the customer systems, Excel, and other company systems.

Qualifications:

• Preferred candidate will have some transportation experience.
• Excellent organizational skills, ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks in an efficient manner and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment where change is a constant event.
• Must be able to manage processes efficiently and have good follow up skills, time management, a sense of urgency and able to apply a strong attention to detail.
• Proven success at keeping multiple projects all moving forward concurrently.
• Work independently as well as collaborate with multi-functional teams.
• Demonstrated success in customer service required, with data entry.
• Proven problem solving skills.
• Scope of work is full time, Monday through Friday.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $40,000.00 - $50,000.00 per year
