Kennel Attendant

Job Overview: We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate individual to join our team as a Kennel Assistant. As a Kennel Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing care and support to our furry friends. Responsibilities: - Provide daily care and attention to the animals in our facility, including feeding, watering, and exercising - Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards in kennels and common areas - Assist with bathing and grooming of animals as needed - Monitor the health and well-being of the animals, reporting any concerns to the appropriate staff members - Assist with administering medications under the guidance of veterinary professionals - Ensure that all animals are properly identified and their records are accurately maintained - Assist with animal handling during examinations, treatments, and procedures - Provide support to veterinary technicians and veterinarians as needed Skills: - Experience or knowledge in dog training, pet care, or animal handling is preferred - Familiarity with veterinary practices or experience as a veterinary assistant is a plus - Ability to handle animals with care, patience, and compassion - Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately - Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written - Ability to work effectively as part of a team We offer competitive compensation based on experience. Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $13.07 - $13.61 per hour

Expected hours: 15 – 25 per week
