Payroll Coordinator

Charlotte, North Carolina

This Is What You’ll Do:

Process payroll in compliance with federal, state, and local laws
Set up and process multiple garnishments in accordance with federal, state, and local laws
Reporting statistics to the Bureau of Labor
Responsible for timely communication with employees
Proper entry, review, and recording of employee timesheets
Run accrual reports and correct balances
Prepare special reports and assist the supervisor with special projects as needed
Provide excellent quality customer service to internal employees as well as outside sources
Create templates for correspondence

This Is What It Takes:

High School Diploma or equivalent (GED)
Ability to work independently while being extremely organized and detail-focused
Minimum of 2 years of clerical experience and/or payroll processing experience
Working knowledge of setting up and processing garnishments is highly preferred
Proficiency in MS Excel, MS Word, and MS Outlook
Ability to multi-task and be a team player with positive attitude
