The Warehouse Coordinator II works closely with the warehouse leadership team leading the day-to day operations including scheduling and monitoring all shipping and receiving activities. This individual will be responsible for ensuring a smooth flow of goods for incoming and outgoing shipments.
Dip into This Role
- Drive all team members to adhere to safety guidelines, OSHA requirements, GMPs, and department housekeeping plan.
- Assist in shipping and receiving trucks and verify all supporting documentation.
- Communicate labor needs and assign daily work schedule to include overtime and other staffing changes to staff effectively to execute daily workload.
- Adhere and monitor inbound and outbound schedule and perform timely and accurate systematic transactions to minimize material outages or order cuts.
- Train employees on work methods, company policy, procedures and related topics as needed.
- Collaborate with quality team to ensure food safety and product quality requirements are executed and aid in the non-conformance process.
- Effectively communicate and build working relationships cross-functionally.
- Act as a strategic partner for the warehouse leadership team in continuous improvement efforts, policies and procedures reviews, safety objectives, cost improvement efforts for department, etc.
- Support Warehouse Coordinator I role as needed.
- Assist Warehouse Supervisor as needed.
- Apply and verify seal as applicable.
- Other duties as assigned.
Recipe for Success
- High School Diploma or GED
- Forklift Certified or ability to become certified within 30 days upon hire into role.
- 2-3 years relevant experience in warehouse and/or distribution environment required.
- SAP and Microsoft Office experience preferred.
- Prior leadership experience preferred.
- Computer, basic reading, and arithmetic skills with an understanding of WMS systems required.
- Ability to work with minimal supervision.
