What are the responsibilities and job description for the Billing Specialist position at Default Brand?
This is a full time position working days at Northwest Medical Center in the Operating Room.
Summary:
Responsible for preparation of bills and invoices, the calculation of sales tickets and charge slips, and verification of billing with accounts receivable ledger. Processes changes in information system to support accurate and efficient billing process and financial close. Relies on limited experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Performs a variety of tasks. Works under general supervision. A certain degree of creativity and latitude is required. Typically reports to a supervisor or manager.
Requirements:
High School diploma or equivalent and no previous experience required. Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field.
