What are the responsibilities and job description for the Cut & Wrap Maint Mechanic B position at Default Brand?
Cabot Creamery is seeking a candidate for a Full time, 2nd shift Maintenance Mechanic to work in our Cut & Wrap packaging facility located in Cabot, VT. Individual will be responsible for troubleshooting and repairs to high speed packaging machines and electronic controls, installation of new mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and equipment, and working with external contractors as necessary. Will perform preventative maintenance and ensure that there are no disruptions to plant operations.
Qualified candidates must possess excellent mechanical ability, electronic and PLC experience, and the ability to make repairs swiftly and accurately. Ideal candidates must have experience working in a manufacturing or production environment. Requires the ability to work independently and as a team member, multi-task, possess a strong attention to detail, and good communication and computer skills are essential. Flexibility to work weekend and holiday rotations is required.
Position requires a High School diploma or GED, and appropriate technical training.
