Requirements and qualifications:
- ASN minimum
- Valid Indiana RN license
- BLS within 90 days from hire
- Additional certifications completed within 90 days – 6 months from hire
- Hiring new grads to experienced RN’s
Our Lutheran Hospital Cardiac Telemetry department has a total of 48 beds. This is a medical surgical telemetry unit with a medium to high acuity patient level where the concentration is in monitoring critically ill with an electrocardiogram and other measuring devices to assess patient blood pressure, oxygen saturation, heart rhythms, recording and interpreting the data, working closely with the physician. This department utilizes a module buddy format which strengthens the cohesiveness of the team. To be successful in this unit, you must be compassionate, confident, able to adapt quickly, have critical thinking skills to assess patient need, and be a strong team player.
