What are the responsibilities and job description for the Social Worker LCSW position at Default Brand?
Coordinates the overall interdisciplinary plan of care for a patient, from admission to discharge. Acts as a liaison between patient/family and healthcare personnel to ensure necessary care is provided promptly and effectively. Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Performs a variety of tasks. A certain degree of creativity and latitude is required. Typically reports to a head of a department/unit. Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field.MA or MS degree in Social Work. Minimum two years of supervised post degree work as a therapist specific to the population served by facility. Two years prior experience in psychiatric or mental health setting. Experience with mental status evaluations, DSM-V diagnosis, intake interviews, treatment plants, prognosis notes preparation, provision of individual and group therapies specific to population served. At least two years of experience in hospitalization program, intensive outpatient program and or outpatient clinic. Licensed Clinical Social Workers license require.
