What are the responsibilities and job description for the Stroke & Chest Pain Program Coord (FT) position at Default Brand?
Organizes and oversees the clinical education RN staff in regards to Stroke and cardiac patients. Assists with planning and implementation of Stroke and cardiac education. Responsible for the operation of the Stroke and cardiac program at all times. Liaison between staff and physicians, responsible for creating the Stroke and cardiac competency program and RN competency testing, available to staff for problem solving and supervisory issues relating to Stroke and cardiac Program. On call to the RN staff as needed for consultation & problem solving. Bachelor’s degree in Nursing Registered Nurse CPR ACLS. One year medical surgical experience. Supervisory experience preferred.
