What are the responsibilities and job description for the Sup Respiratory Therapy FT position at Default Brand?
The Cardiopulmonary Clinical Coordinator reports to the Cardiopulmonary Director for all duties. Responsible for assuring that the needs of patients, Physicians, and staff are met, while ensuring excellence in all aspects of the Respiratory Department’s operation. As a direct patient care provider, the Coordinator will deliver competent care in all clinical settings. This position will be expected to adhere to, and be an example for team members, of our mission to provide quality healthcare services in a safe and compassionate environment. Assists the Director to ensure appropriate staffing levels and productivity levels are achieved. Assists with on-going training, and new employee training. Responsible for maintaining adequate par levels of supplies. Assists Director in ensuring the Cardiopulmonary Department adheres to all state and federal rules and regulations to meet all Joint Commission standards. Assists in maintaining records for the Blood gas analyzers. Assists with Sleep Lab duties and management of EKGs in Cardioserver. Acts as a resource for other departmental employees and ensures departmental function in the absence of the Director.
Education: Graduate of an accredited School for Respiratory Therapy. Bachelors Degree preferred.
Experience:
Minimum of four years of experience as a Respiratory Therapist, preferred.
Minimum of two years of supervisory experience, preferred
Licenses/Certificates:
Credentialed by National Board of Respiratory Care, RRT preferred.
Current license from Georgia Board for Respiratory Therapy.
Current ACLS, PALS, and BLS CPR Certification required
NRP Provider status obtained within 90 days of employment.
