Responsibilities:
As a Health Technician (Autopsy) you will:
Ensure physical areas designated as morgue operational essential are properly maintained.
Provide inventory oversight and acquisition of supplies and equipment.
Monitor subordinate personnel to ensure compliance with all policy and regulations.
Remove human anatomy parts using advanced evisceration techniques.
Prepare standard operating procedures to be in compliance with regulation.

In order to qualify, you must meet the experiecen requirements described below. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social). You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Your resume must clearly describe your relevant experience; if qualifying based on education, your transcripts will be required as part of your application. Basic Requirements:
Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes, assisting in ensuring the morgue designated areas are properly maintained in accordance to standard operating procedures; preparing the appropriate instruments, devices, containers, solutions, and/or other necessary equipment for autopsy; and aiding in the removal of organs, spinal cord, tongue, and/or eyes in accordance with recognized standards and safety control policies. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-10).
