Qualifications:
Basic Requirements:-
Degree: auditing; or a degree in a related field such as business administration, finance, public administration or accounting.

Combination of education and experience: at least 4 years of experience in Performance Auditing, or an equivalent combination of performance auditing experience, college-level education, and training that provided professional auditing knowledge. The applicant's background must also include one of the following:
- A certificate as a Certified Internal Auditor or a Certified Public Accountant, obtained through written examination; or
- Completion of the requirements for a degree that included substantial course work in auditing or accounting, e.g., 15 semester hours.
For the GS-13, you must have at least one year of specialized experience equivalent in level of difficulty and responsibility to the GS-12 grade level in the Federal service, or comparable in difficulty and responsibility to GS-12 if outside the Federal service.
Qualifying experience is defined as experience conducting performance audits related to information technology (IT) systems and cyber operations to determine compliance with regulations, policies, and procedures, identifying and developing program guides that address audit objectives, evaluating the effectiveness/efficiency of computer systems, and resolving program related problems and recommending solutions.
