What We Are Looking For:
The Express Lane Advisor acts as the primary point-of-contact for customers arriving at the dealership via the service department's lube lane. They provide a world-class experience by genuinely engaging with customers to document requested services and ensures they are rendered in a highly efficient manner while maintaining communication every step of the way.
- Schedules appointments
- Greets customers in a timely, friendly manner and obtains vehicle information.
- Actively listens to customers and to their concerns or requests
- Walks around the vehicle with customer as needed to confirm the damages and prior damage.
- Communicate the repair process to prospective customers and ensure that all work meets established quality standards
- Writes a brief description of the customer's concern on the repair order to help the technician locate the problem
- Helps identify a mechanical problem by questioning the customer or doing a visual inspection
- Ensures proper multi-point vehicle inspection is completed for every vehicle
- Visibly demonstrate safety commitment by following all safety and health procedures and modeling the behaviors related to such work in cooperation with safety leadership to support all safety activities aligned with safety excellence
- Maintain accurate records as required by dealership
- Performs other duties and tasks as assigned
Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities)
Education & Experience
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED);
- 1 (one) plus years of prior automotive experience preferred
Knowledge & Skills
- Auto repair, maintenance, and experience is preferred
- Ability to read and comprehend instructions and information
- A positive attitude and good work ethic

- Excellent persuasive verbal communication skills
- Time management skills and willingness to take initiative
- Knowledge of the automotive industry and technical aspects of vehicles and ownership
