What are the responsibilities and job description for the Solutions Engineer position at DEKA Research & Development?
We’re looking for a Solutions Engineer to work on a variety of exciting projects. As a Solutions Engineer, you will be responsible for working with our clients to understand their needs and develop solutions that meet their requirements. You will also be responsible for working with our team of developers to ensure that the solutions you develop are implemented correctly and meet our high standards. This is an on-site role in Manchester New Hampshire’s burgeoning technology center. Remote will not be considered.
(Tech stack: SQL, ETL/API, Rockwell)
How you will make an impact:
- Understand/develop/implement the data flow of manufacturing lines
- Develop and maintain secure, stable and scalable solutions
- Research, evaluate, and recommend appropriate technologies/solutions
- Develop, implement, and monitor robust data integrations (ETLs and APIs)
- Develop user procedures, and other technical documentation
- Work closely with manufacturing engineers and the Quality team
- Develop and implement procedures to ensure projects are completed on time and with first-time quality
What you need to be successful in this role:
- 5 years in related field (ETL and API Development, software solutions development, medical equipment manufacturing systems)
- Knowledge of solution development methods and technologies, and ability to interpret technical drawings and complex specifications
- Knowledge of FDA requirements is a plus
- Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously with a constant eye on quality
- Must be able to work onsite at DEKA 5 days a week
