We have an immediate opening for a Technical Recruiter to join a growing HR team in a dynamic medical device research and development environment. This individual will collaborate with hiring managers to source, assess and select permanent and temporary talent for the organization and identify and utilize creative sourcing to find talented candidates.
How you will make an impact:
- Responsible for full lifecycle recruiting to include partnering with hiring managers to define needs and finalize job descriptions, post jobs, sourcing, assessing/interviewing candidates, etc.
- Identify and validate candidates for essential technical skills
- Manage candidates through the recruiting process, from establishing interest to hire
- Interface with employees at all levels of the organization including the Senior Management team on a regular basis
- Sustain a high level of ownership of all responsibilities and projects, including setting manager expectations and providing status updates
- Maintain the highest levels of confidentiality, professionalism and attention to detail
- Proactively approach projects and responsibilities and anticipate needs whenever possible
- Maintain knowledge of staffing laws and regulations, ensure regulatory compliance and update the staffing process as necessary
- Participate in Affirmative Action Plan activities as needed
To be successful in this role, you will need the following skills and experience:
- Minimum of 3 years of full cycle technical recruiting experience
- Experience recruiting for multiple engineering disciplines, software engineering preferred
- Experience with LinkedIn Recruiter
- Demonstrated ability to build strong relationships with candidates and hiring managers
- Must be able to source candidates from job boards, niche sites, social networking, etc.
- Knowledge of state/federal laws and guidelines, as well as current immigration laws and processes preferred
- Experience with Applicant Tracking Systems (JazzHR preferred)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Must be a self-starter who can work independently with minimal supervision but also able to work effectively within a team environment
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills and organizational skills
- Ability to successfully work in a fast paced, growing and changing work environment
- Service-oriented, ability to anticipate needs and apply good judgment
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field preferred
