Adult Psychiatrist Outpatient – Kirkwood Behavioral Health Clinic

Position:
Part-Time. Fully On Site or Hybrid Mix of On-Site and Telehealth practice. Must reside or be willing to relocate to the State of Georgia.
Duties & Responsibilities:
The selected Psychiatrist will join an outstanding multidisciplinary team consisting of other psychiatrists, physician extender staff, registered nurses, counselors and administrative and support staff.
As an important member of this team, the physician will:
Complete psychiatric diagnostic assessments and follow ups and makes recommendations for treatment within an evidence-based framework.
Demonstrate strong clinical judgment in assessment, application of diagnostic criteria, clinical formulations, and sound triage decisions.
Provide consultation regarding client care to clinical staff.
May act as delegated physician of record for specific advanced practice nurse(s).
Actively contributes to the treatment center and organization through on-going collaborative efforts.
This position serves adults only.
Minimum Training & Experience:
Adult Psychiatrist. Active Georgia Medical and DEA License. Currently Board Certified / Board Eligible. Proficient use of a computer and ability to utilize an Electronic Health Record and other applications.
Preferred: Psychiatry Board Certification.

WORKING CONDITIONS:
Works indoors in a clinic and is able to use telehealth in a hybrid model (as allowed by regulations). May be required to physically assist clients, may need to carry objects up to 10 pounds.

Critical thinking, exemplary interpersonal skills, and a consistent, contributing demeanor is required. Must have computer skills with ability to use an electronic health record and other applications efficiently.
