Janitor/Custodian Role and Responsibilities

Clean and Care for buildings and facilities in order to ensure they are maintained according to contractual standards:

· Clean Offices/Meeting Rooms/all accessible spaces

· Mop/vacuum/dust/sweep

· Clean restrooms/mirrors/refill all products

· Remove garbage and or recycling as required by contract

· Clean kitchens/sinks/counter-tops/outside of appliance and or additional cleaning as required

· General cleaning and disinfecting not listed otherwise

Additional Responsibilities:

1. Secure Storage Areas

2. Ensure Cleaning Materials and supplies are stored in a safe and orderly manner

3. Maintain an adequate supply of cleaning materials and supplies

4. Report all safety violations and or improper usage of company property

5. Restock materials and supplies

6. Make note and or notify supervisor of equipment repairs and or replacement as needed

Skills

Team Building/Time Management/Problem Solving skills/Effective verbal and listening skills/ability to work with or without direct supervision.

Physical Requirements:
Must be able to stand/walk/lift/ operate equipment/and or stoop/bend/ and lift up to 45 pounds.

Must have a cell phone, be able to wok in the US. Valid OR drivers license/ID and be eligible to work in the US and background check

Job Type: Monday through Friday evening shift

Pay: $16.00 - $20.00 per hour

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $16.00 - $19.00 per hour

Schedule:

• 4 hour shift

Ability to commute/relocate:

• Medford, OR 97504: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)

Shift availability:

• Night Shift (Preferred)

Work Location: In person
